Surrounded by fields with views of the Cheviots in one direction and the North Sea in the other, this cottage is set in an excellent location, and is a lovely base from which to enjoy days out in this picturesque area. Friendly and welcoming, this retreat is perfect for a small family or couples, wanting to enjoy a cosy holiday away from their busy lifestyle.

Sit back and watch TV or read a book before stepping out through the French doors that open to the lovely garden and patio. Take the stairs to the double bedroom boasting soothing colours and views of the hills in the distance. There is plenty of room to store your clothes in the charming wardrobe and all those extras you may bring along. .. only a minute or so from the A1, yet there was no sound from it at all. 15 minutes to Lindisfarne or up to Berwick, 20.minutes to Bamburgh, 25 minutes down to Alnwick... and 5 minutes to Cheswick Beach: one of the best beaches in the UK, in my opinion. Thanks to Stuart and Gillian for the use of your property: we had a great time!
