Oil central heating and electricity. Wi-fi, bed linen and towels provided.. Small enclosed south-facing garden with garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking.. Next door to the Holy Island Heritage Centre, this charming converted fisherman’s holiday cottage is reached by a causeway at low tide. Only minutes from the sea, with walks over the dunes, the castle and priory to explore. On the unspoilt Northumberland coast, with its sandy beaches and coastal walks. Berwick-on-Tweed, 15 miles. Boat trips to the Farne Islands, castles and National Park close by. Post office, shops and pubs 400 yards.

We’ve been staying in this cottage every year, often twice a year, since 2011. This was our 27th stay! It’s a lovely cottage, has everything you need and the owners continually upgrade and invest each year. The location is great as it’s a quiet part of the island with less visitors walking past and the room at the back is idyllic looking out to the peaceful garden which is a delight to sit on sunny days. Highly recommended

Lovely cosy cottage, every thing you need in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable the on suite bathroom was good. The bedroom is a bit on the dark side with a small window but it was January. The dining room was a lovely cozy bright room with patio doors to a small garden. Not much of a view from the cottage but you are on Holy island so you just step out and there are plenty of amazing views. The cottage had everything we needed and we had a fantastic relaxing week.
