Stable cottage is situated in an ideal place to discover some fantastic places, Ford and Etal are idyllic. Stable cottage was very clean with all the facilities you will require, lovely welcome basket containing milk, eggs, cheese, bread and grapes. Cottage has a very warm and welcoming feel, hardly any cars on the road outside adds to the relaxing feel of the stay. Log fire in the cottage added to those cozy nights. You also have the use of a large garden seating area which is attached to main house, ideal for those early evening drinks or early morning cuppa. Thank you Angus for making our stay in Northumbria a memorable one.

Our host, Angus, provided us with a lovely welcome and was very informative about the local area and places of interest to visit. Would highly recommend a stay at Stable Cottage and we will definitely be returning.

We were welcomed by Angus who is a perfect host. Never intrusiv, but always reachable when you need help. He knows the area and can offer good ideas when it comes to places to visit or where to go for eating out. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack after our long drive to the Stables. Even the weather was great and it could not have been a better week. Monika & Chris
