The open plan lounge/dining room is light and airy with a double height ceiling featuring exposed A line beams. At the end of the lounge, there are two full length east facing windows, which allow the morning sunlight to flood in, and between the windows is a wall hung log burning stove. There is direct access to the garden through the patio doors.

The house was very welcoming and comfortable. We felt at home immediately and consider it to be one of the best if not the very best of a long line of holiday properties that we have rented over the years. It was ideally located for introducing our three generational family group to Northumberland. The village shop and community hall play area (with fantastic zip wire) are fantastic facilities that Chatton can offer to the holidaymaker. The Percy Arms (just around the corner) served excellent food.
