This deceptively spacious cottage has been recently renovated and extended to create a luxury holiday home nestled in Northumberland’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Sitting in a larger than average south facing garden, the original cottage has been beautifully renovated, but the real treat is the breathtaking modern open plan extension. Rosemary Cottage is located on Swinhoe Road, one of the quieter roads in Beadnell, but is only a stone’s throw from the village centre pubs, restaurants, amenities and most importantly the beach. This is an ideal property for a group seeking a coastal and country escape; after a day exploring the wonderful Northumberland scenery, history and wildlife, Rosemary Cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The oversize windows provide a wonderfully light, warm and airy feel, and allow for great views of the spacious garden, which wraps around three sides of the cottage. Plenty of space for garden games, a quiet reading corner or entertaining on the sheltered patio. If you’re the competitive type, try out the secluded boules court! The open plan kitchen/living room is the hub of the house; a spacious environment perfect for entertaining, with ample seating and direct access through triple sliding doors to the patio and garden. At the front of the property is a second sitting room, perfect for cosying up next to the woodburner if the weather turns. There are three bedrooms; a king room with en-suite, one zip and link (superking), and a twin, together with a family bathroom. There is so much to experience in this part of the world; whether you are into watersports, wildlife spotting, walking or exploring history, the Northumberland AONB caters for all. Experiencing the puffin and seal colony on the nearby Farne Islands is a particular must see. There are also fantastic local gastronomic hotspots not to be missed. Beadnell is a wonderful harbour village, located on Northumberland's Heritage Coastline, it's rich in history, wildlife, and fun for all the family. Still known to be a famous fishing village from the early years and continuing into modern day, it attracts tourists from all over for a relaxing retreat in a pretty, scenic location.

Our expectations were already high from previous reviews and seeing the photos of the cottage. They were definitely surpassed and we had a wonderful stay. We very much appreciated the attentive and considerate contact from the owners before we arrived and the fabulous welcome gifts to greet our arrival. Rosemary Cottage is fantastic and is fully equipped for every need. There wasnât a single thing we needed that the cottage didnât have underlining the considerable care made. Seriously comfy beds, beautifully furnished, relaxing and inspiring garden and the added bonus of horses in the field. Perfect mindfulness. Beadnell is lovely and the cottage location is quiet yet perfectly positioned for the local amenities and great walk down to the beach. We would love to return but will have a dog shortly so weâll need to find a cottage to reach the superb benchmark that Rosemary sets. A wonderful stay and a Big thank you to Ed and Amanda.

Excellent location, peaceful and rural but close to eating places and beach. Really enjoyed our stay in a comfortable, well designed property with a superb kitchen and dining area. We appreciated the generous welcome pack and the good quality furnishings and kitchenware. The owners have really thought about the details that make the difference be tween an OK place to stay and a really memorable place that you really want to come back to.
