We enjoyed some beautiful weather and had the opportunity to enjoy some time on the gorgeous beaches at Embleton, Alnmouth and Beadnell. Strong recommendation for Embers woodfired pizza, absolutely delicious! The only minor quibble would be the lack of oven gloves at the cottage.

One hotel/restaurant, a farm shop and two pubs in walking distance. We (two persons!) enjoyed the stay and didn't miss anything.
