The rustic charm of the wood complements the modern touches throughout the cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a washing machine for convenience, while the dining area provides the perfect space to enjoy a meal together. A spacious bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, ensuring restful nights, and an ensuite with a larger shower cubicle and Heated towel rail adds a touch of luxury. Step outside onto the decking, where you’ll find your private hot tub – perfect for relaxing under the stars with panoramic views. The expansive garden is a highlight, with a beautifully designed zen garden and a separate viewing deck offering sweeping views over Hexham. The Hadrian’s Wall Path is just a short drive away, where you can follow this famous unesco World Heritage Site along scenic trails. The rugged landscape and ancient Roman forts offer a unique combination of history and breathtaking views. Northumberland is also renowned for its dog-friendly trails. You can take your pup on scenic walks through Northumberland National Park, with its rolling hills and peaceful woodlands, or wander the quiet country lanes surrounding Bardon Mill for a stroll. The historic town of Hexham is just a short drive away, offering a range of activities. You can explore the 12th-century Hexham Abbey, which provides a glimpse into the region’s rich history, or wander the charming streets lined with independent shops, cafes, and pubs. We had the most incredible stay at Hygge Cabin! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel so welcome and she was really friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about creating a relaxing and memorable experience.The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, stylish, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was super comfy, perfect for a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. We loved the smart TV fully loaded with everything you could need for a cosy night in, and the selection of board games was a lovely touch. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything we needed, and the powerful shower was such a treat!The cabin sits on a gorgeous private decked area complete with a hot tub and comfy seating, ideal for relaxing with a drink and soaking up the peace and quiet. Beyond that, the main garden and zen garden are simply stunning. Both spaces were perfect for sitting out in the sunshine with a book or just enjoying the sounds of nature.Our dog Martin had the time of his life! The paddock at the end of the gardens gave him the freedom to run wild and free, and we loved sitting on the decked viewing area at the very end because the views were absolutely breathtaking. We were even lucky enough to be greeted by a group of friendly cows who came to say hello every single day, which added such a charming touch to the whole experience.Nearby, we explored Hadrian’s Wall, the beautiful woodland walks at Allen Banks and Staward Gorge, and spent a lovely afternoon wandering around the quaint town of Corbridge. All were within easy reach and well worth a visit.This truly was a special place, peaceful, luxurious, and full of thoughtful details. We left feeling completely relaxed and already can’t wait to come back and have booked again for February!

Lovely cabin in excellent grounds .. excellent for visiting local tourist attractions including hadrians wall or just fo. Very clean , beautiful grounds , lovely comfortable bed , excellent decking surrounding the cabin with added dog security. Nothing.

We booked this location for our 10th wedding anniversary. The whole visit was simply amazing. From the cabin itself down to the surroundings. The views were simply breathtaking. We can’t wait to go back.
