Down a peaceful leafy lane just a mile from the heart of the historic market town of Hexham, this spacious, traditional stone house sits in its own south-facing garden. Near the owner’s home, it provides comfortable and well-equipped holiday accommodation. Perhaps the most romantic of all Northumbrian towns, Hexham offers a good selection of shops, restaurants and inns, together with an excellent golf course and National Hunt racing. Kielder Water and Newcastle are both 24 miles. Scottish borders easily accessible. Sports centre, fishing and riding locally. Shops 1 mile.

Cottage was about a mile away from town long uphill walk back its in need of updating and the removal of cobwebs and spiders.It was funcual for our needsOwner very nice on hand if needed

We enjoyed our week stay at the property. It is very quiet and out of the way but close enough to Hexham to shop, buy, eat out etc etc. Behind the house, are fields that back onto the garden containing Horses and wildlife It felt like a typical farm cottage, the decor is very tired, but charming and characterful. My wife summed it up perfectly by declaring "It may by a bit tired, but the house has a lot of soul"An AGA in the large kitchen. Netflix available in the sitting room which is also a bonus. The rental was we thought very competitive. The owners who live a short walk away were also, very lovely and helpful. We would definitely go back.

A big property with plenty of room, very nice views of the countryside, we even had rabbits and a hedgehog in the garden.Good off road dog walks very close to the house.Hexham town center is very close and has all amenities.The owner is very pleasant and helpful.We had a very enjoyable stay.
