Pleasantly appointed throughout, providing warm and homely accommodation, this Falstone cottage has a traditional appearance, and dates back to 1846, making it ideal for families and friends looking for a relaxing retreat from which they can explore the surrounding countryside. With comfortable furnishings, this Falstone cottage provides three bedrooms and a fitted kitchen, a great place for rustling up a hearty meal. The welcoming sitting room and sociable dining room both benefit from toasty woodburners, creating a cosy atmosphere for relaxing in after a day's sightseeing.
Outside this south-facing Falstone cottage, there is a lovely cottage garden to the front, which is a haven for a variety of birds and from where you can admire the stunning views towards the North Tyne River, plus a telescope is available if you wish to view the wonderful night's sky. Our dogs loved it with the enclosed garden and the treats. Lots of birds visit and wildlife, hedgehog ,frog and bats to name a few. The cottage is central to northumberland for visiting Hadrians wall , Cragside and the coast. We loved our holiday here from Diana and Colin.
