We stayed at Bedes Rest over New Year . Do not underestimate this house- it is fabulous. The first surprise was the sheer size of the house- it’s huge with high ceilings. It’s lovely and warm and very well equipped. The sofas are comfortable although the cushions have seen better days. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms and showers are modern and clean. The enclosed yard is ideal for the dog. All that Amble has to offer is on the doorstep. I would be booking this again for next year if I didn’t need a bigger house

First impression was good but then there are things that let it down. Not even a full roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so had to go and get some more . After using a tray in the oven the tray was breaking up from it's coating and should go in the bin. There was two trays .The freezer was that iced up that it could not be relied on and there was a sign about shutting the door. At the very least that they should of defrosted it. Not a good first impression. No mop and bucket if there was a spill. Beds were comfortable and living room the settees were good and Roomy.

Only two little niggles, upstairs toilet had no lightbulb & the welcome hamper in the photos wasnt there, so maybe remove those photos as they were misleading, Other than that , its a large spacious property, clean to a high standard, felt like home for the few days we were there. Will definitely recommend.
