The working harbour and Little Shore beach and pier are a short 700-metre stroll away, perfect for leisurely walks, ice cream by the sea, or exploring the local maritime atmosphere.

Spacious cottage. Generally clean but some cobwebs, metal items rusty, needs a deep clean perhaps. Very tiny yard but great, quiet location. Other guests not putting bins out to be emptied so no rubbish disposal available for our stay. Lovely, homely cottage though. Would advise that owners make regular checks to ensure standards are maintained by cleaning crews etc.

The location was absolutely amazing! Couldn’t be beaten, neighbours fantastic, Amble itself perfect with fabulous meals at The Harbour Inn and La familgia on the high street, shops literally at the bed of the road.The only things that let our stay down were the third bedroom of the property, the property is advertised as having a third bedroom with sofa bed, it isn’t a sofa bed it is a futon bed with a open plug socket directly above, the bed does not sit level and is possibly the most uncomfortable thing I have ever sat on, my toddler would not entertain in at all, my eldest slept in it the first night so my toddler could have a bed and he woke up the next morning in agony, needless to say our toddler was in with us for the remainder of the trip. Crazy really as the room would comfortably fit a standard single bed in? The cleanliness was not up to par with cobwebs, dirty side boards, cutlery and broken bath side other guests half used shower gel in the shower and shampoo.However, we would return simply because of the location and parking.
