Contemporary meets rustic inside the property, where upon entering the wooden lodge you'll be wowed by a bright, open-plan living space. The market town is home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, an immense tree house, and an elegant walled garden. The castle is widely known for being the location of Hogwarts School in the "Harry Potter" movie! Overall, a fantastic base for exploring Northumberland's gorgeous Heritage Coastline.

Absolutely beautiful lodge and it has every amenity you could think of! The owners have exceptional taste and attention to detail. Great location as well, we used it as a base for White House farm, Alnwick gardens, druridge bay and Northumberland zoo, all under 20 mins or so from the lodge! We will definitely be returning!

Welcome gifts of flowers, bread , milk etc was most appreciated . Literally everything you could need and more . Clean , comfortable beds , beautiful bathrooms ( which smelt amazing ) , relaxing lounge area with lots of throws to snuggle up and relax after a day out sightseeing .Everything you could need in the kitchen to even left dog treats , poop bags, bowls etc for the dogs . Beautiful furnishings and all the additional touches make the lodge the perfect place to stay . Park is huge but it was also peaceful . Lots to do in the local area . Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful stay .
