This pretty village is the jewel of Northumberland’s crown and is prefectly located as a base for you to explore all the attractions. Dominated by its fine castle ruins and riverside walks from the front door, Warkworth has plenty of friendly village pubs, select shops and galleries so you can leave the car behind. Less than a mile from a sandy bay which stretches from Amble to Alnmouth in aonb. Set on the coastal route providing over 20 miles of golden sands. Alnwick Castle, famous for ’Harry Potter’s Hogwarts’ and ’Braveheart’, and the Duchess’ enchanting gardens is just 6 miles. Boat trips to Coquet Island to view the bird sanctuaries from Amble is only 2 miles. Alnmouth, with its Ballamory style houses, beautiful beach and silver sands is only 3 miles. Visitors to Waterside and to Warkworth are sure to want to return to this real home away from home, time and time again. Shops 600 yards, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Fantastic 2 night break with friends , had trip out to Alnwick & Amble then back to relax in this lovely house , had everything you could need & beautifully decorated for Christmas Will definitely be looking to book again
