Seahouses offers a wide array of facilities including tearooms, restaurants, pubs and shops, all within easy walking distance of this holiday property. Boat trips runs from the nearby harbour to the Farne Islands where you can see the nesting seabirds and grey seal colonies. The golden, sandy beach is a short walk from the property, making Seahouses an ideal choice for a traditional family holiday.
The picture postcard village of Bamburgh, dominated by its dramatic fortress, is only 3 miles north and Beadnell Bay, popular for watersport enthusiasts, is under 2 miles and a pleasant walk. Heading a short drive inland to the market town of Alnwick, you will find the castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The stunning Alnwick Garden are also a popular visitor attraction and has the largest treehouse in Europe, where you can dine in the fabulous restaurant.

A lovely comfortable house in an amazing location, there are walks in all directions and just a few minutes from local shops, pubs and beaches. The upstairs and front room are beautifully decorated and very comfy. Unfortunately as mentioned before the kitchen floor is coming up and it could do with a clean or a coat of paint same with the hall. The garden is a great size but both front and back needed weeding and a good tidy up and the garden room was unusable. There is a toilet in the garage but with no sink! The only door to the garden is through the garage which is full of stuff so not ideal. Altogether we were disappointed especially as we paid a good housekeeping deposit but with a bit of time and money spent these problems could be fixed.

On getting there could hardly get the car down the drive for weeds and hedges. Very dangerous as there was a drop on one side. The room had a large patch of damp not yet mouldy, the kichen floor was coming up, we had to put a rug over it. The summer house was a joke ready for the tip. The garden was weeds everywhere. The gardener did make a start half way through the holiday.

Lovely home, easy to relax in, very central for Seahouses, close to beaches. Great storage for bikes. Spacious two main bedrooms. Comfy beds!
