A Superbly Located Cottage with a River View
A very attractive and comfortable holiday cottage, spacious and comfortable for up to 6 people, plus a cot, and one dog very welcome. Victoria Cottage in Warkworth is situated in a quiet, yet central spot in the historic Conservation area, directly overlooking the pretty River Coquet, with its abundance of wildlife and a view of the castle.
Victoria Cottage is within a couple of minutes’ walk of the heart of Warkworth Village, where there are several good pubs, restaurants and cafés – including a great little French Patisserie ‘Cabosse’, some lovely little shops and a renowned art gallery ‘Fenwick Gallery’. The castle is just 2 minute’s walk and the beach a 15-20 minute walk or 3 minute drive. Awarded 4 Stars and a prestigious Gold Award for excellence by VisitBritain.

This was our third time staying in Warkworth, it’s a beautiful village in a perfect spot for visiting local walks. The Masons Arms in the village does really good pub grub and Betram’s is perfect for breakfast or cake. The beaches at Warkworth, Beadnell Bay and Embleton are all wonderful and the car park at Warkworth is free which is a bonus. The house has been perfect, thank you. We look forward to visiting again.

We have had a great week! Victoria Cottage is a lovely, cosy cottage in a great location. There are lots of great walks, beaches and restaurants nearby. We would recommend The Fish Shack in Amble for super seafood. Warkworth is an ideal place to explore Northumberland, we would love to return again soon.

The house is very cosy and the area is lovely, with two great pubs in the walking distance. The view of the castle is gorgeous!
