We heartily recommend No.1 and Milan locally, plus the Bamburgh beaches and Alnwick are a must. We've had a great time, but now have a very long list of jobs to do to match this place!

There was a beautiful welcome hamper left for us and we were also offered the opportunity to check in early and a late check out. The only issue we had was one of the beds was not left as twin beds which I had requested weeks earlier and the owner had to come and rectify. I felt awful asking as it was Christmas Eve, however he was brilliant about it. I think you owe him a huge apology. Everything else was perfect. I would highly recommend this beautiful property.

The house itself is beautiful and Wooler is the perfect location for exploring all the lovely sites in Northumberland. We were lucky with the weather, cold but lovely and sunny. Most places are dog friendly, especially No1 on the High Street. We will definitely be back!
