Cottage good for space plenty of room. Could do with a welcome pack other than a pint of milk. No condiments or baking trays.Towels have seen better days ,too small and too few.Would be a bonus if wi-fi was included. Also would be nice to have someone to welcome you or just to enquire if everything was ok.

We, 3 grandparents and 2 Grandsons, have just had a wonderful week at Humbleton Falls. The cottage is spacious and has everything you could need. The garden was ideal for 2 young boys to play in. The playground in the caravan park was an added bonus. As we were the first visitors of the season, there were some very minor issues. Jill, the owner sorted these out immediately, "Thank you!" The cottage is an ideal base for exploring this part of Northumberland. Sunday lunch at the Anchor Inn in Wooler was excellent and great value - you need to book.Thank you Jill.

Very underwhelming welcome and welcome pack, consisting of 3 tea bags 2 biscuits and a small kitkat. However there was a small bottle of milk. I was rather offended and insulted at being asked NOT to take the towels when we left. This occurred during a telephone call from the owner prior to our holiday. The outside of the property was not as it was described on the website regarding views. It could be a good family holiday home given some thought and TLC
