Coastal Cottage is a charming, 150-year-old property featuring beautiful period details such as high ceilings and tall windows. Situated in an elevated position overlooking a public green, it’s ideal for exercising your dog (small dogs only accepted) or taking a peaceful stroll. Steps lead up to the front door, where a small seating area offers the perfect spot to enjoy your morning tea. Inside, the hallway guides you to the front-facing lounge, complete with sofas around the fireplace and a TV. There’s a separate dining room, perfect for family meals, with an adjoining kitchen that opens to a small enclosed patio at the rear. Upstairs, the cottage has three welcoming bedrooms: the master with a double bed, a second room with zip-and-link twin beds that can be set up as a double, and a third with a comfortable single bed. All bedrooms are beautifully presented to ensure a restful stay, and a spacious family shower room completes the upstairs.
Located just a 4-5 minute walk from the centre of Loftus, you’ll find a small supermarket, cafes, bars, and other amenities. Nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, this idyllic getaway is only one and a half miles from the stunning coastline. Loftus is up and coming. Really pretty town. Shops a short walk away. The gateway to North Yorkshire and the coast. Steep steps to front door would have been helped by a hand rail. The house was immaculate and had everything you could need. The welcome basket and wine, tea, coffee, even milk in the fridge was a lovely touch for us and there were doggy treats for your four legged friends. Walks for all on your doorstep and on road parking and free parking just a short walk down the hill.

What a lovely little house to stay in! So clean and well maintained. Beds were great, beautiful bathroom! A real pleasure to stay there, plus, very thoughtful gifts for us and our dogs! Parking was a bit testing to begin with, but we warmed up to it! Lovely Skinnningrove beach just a few minutes away, local shops etc in walking distance. Unfortunately, one of our dogs caused a little damage, but the owner was so kind and reassuring! I will definitely hoping to go back there.
