Coastal Cottage is a charming, 150-year-old property featuring beautiful period details such as high ceilings and tall windows. Situated in an elevated position overlooking a public green, it’s ideal for exercising your dog (small dogs only accepted) or taking a peaceful stroll. Steps lead up to the front door, where a small seating area offers the perfect spot to enjoy your morning tea. Inside, the hallway guides you to the front-facing lounge, complete with sofas around the fireplace and a TV. There’s a separate dining room, perfect for family meals, with an adjoining kitchen that opens to a small enclosed patio at the rear. Upstairs, the cottage has three welcoming bedrooms: the master with a double bed, a second room with zip-and-link twin beds that can be set up as a double, and a third with a comfortable single bed. All bedrooms are beautifully presented to ensure a restful stay, and a spacious family shower room completes the upstairs.
Located just a 4-5 minute walk from the centre of Loftus, you’ll find a small supermarket, cafes, bars, and other amenities. Nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, this idyllic getaway is only one and a half miles from the stunning coastline. The nearest beach is Skinningrove, a hidden gem with an expansive sandy shore perfect for beach lovers. Just to the south lies the picturesque village of Staithes, where quaint cottages cascade down the cliffs towards the sea. For those eager to explore the coastline, Coastal Cottage is perfectly situated. The Cleveland Way, a scenic walking trail that runs along the cliff tops, connects the surrounding bays, fishing villages, and seaside towns, offering breathtaking views at every turn. A fab home from home, a clean and tidy terrace house with comfortable beds and a fab bathroom. A great living space and cozy dining area and a kitchen fitted with everything youd need in a holiday home.We dont usually stay in dog friendly homes as we dont have pets and whilst downstairs we could tell that a dog had stayed in the property before us (a wet doggy smell) ot was still clean and tidy and more importantly upstairs was amazingly clean with fresh bedding and plenty of towels.A perfect place to stay if your visiting Saltburn and Whitby. The co-op, Morrisons, Bakery and a fab cafe (Willow Cake Shop) are just minutes walk away.

Loftus is up and coming. Really pretty town. Shops a short walk away. The gateway to North Yorkshire and the coast. Steep steps to front door would have been helped by a hand rail. The house was immaculate and had everything you could need. The welcome basket and wine, tea, coffee, even milk in the fridge was a lovely touch for us and there were doggy treats for your four legged friends. Walks for all on your doorstep and on road parking and free parking just a short walk down the hill.
