Just had a short 3 day break to get away from it all. This was an excellent location with a good parking area. Lots of places along the coast to visit.The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable.Would fully recommend and very likely to return.

A fabulous cottage. We felt at home as soon as we walked in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook every meal if you want to. The lounge area is comfortable for 5 people and the beds are great. Having a fully secure garden for our little dog was perfect.The Hayloft is in a great location with easy access along the A174 to all the great costal towns and villages. We visited Saltburn, Sandsend, Staithes and Whitby while we were there but places such as Goathland (Heartbeat location) are also within easy reach.We will definitely return.

A fantastic cottage and everything catered for. Lovely location with some great walks and a fantastic pub opposite if the weather is not kind. Only downside for me was the gentleman who stays in 'The Paddock' who asked us not so politely to keep our dog on a lead whilst walking across the car park that is for people who stay in the cottages ( 3 metres max) as his ducks were flying away. Our dog just sat and watched them - never barked or made any movement. Also the cockerill was constant all day.
