We had a fantastic stay. It had everything we needed and more. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was so peaceful. The location is perfect to explore the local area. The bus stop opposite was so convenient and meant that we could park up the car and use the bus service. Would highly recommend and we hope to return next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Hay Loft. The kitchen and living room area is very well equipped, however we couldn't find instructions for some of the equipment and had to use guess work. The bedrooms and bathroom very comfortable. The only reason we haven't given 5 stars is the fact that on the first floor, there is a very low beam all along the landing and into the bathroom and the doors very low too. My husband is 6'2 and had to be so cautious all the time. This hasn't been mentioned in the information about the property when I was researching properties for us. The location is ideal for exploring the surrounding areas. There is a bus stop just along the road where you can get to Saltburn in one direction and Whitby the other. Across the road is The Tiger Inn which had just been renovated and the staff are really friendly. The food is delicious too (the portions are very generous!)All in all it is a really lovely place. Just be aware of the height restrictions.
