The Fox House house is set in an ideal location to explore the delightful National Park, with many scenic walking trails to choose from, as well as the stunning Yorkshire coastline being only a short 10-minute drive away from the inspirational coastal village of Staithes. Easington is a peaceful village with a friendly local pub serving hearty home-cooked meals.
The property has a drive at the front for off-road parking, as well as an enclosed lawned garden at the rear, making it ideal for young children as well as dogs. This is a welcoming and cosy home from home. On the ground floor is an open plan kitchen and dining room. This wood-topped country-style kitchen is well-equipped and ready for you to create all your favourite meals, with both a dishwasher and a washing machine this is an ideal choice for longer stays as well as short breaks as you can make yourself at home.
The living room has a leather three-piece suite where you can unwind in comfort in the evening in front of the electric fire with your feet up; glass double doors open up to the garden, complete with a patio, outdoor seating and a BBQ ideal for those sunny days. Upstairs are three bedrooms, a spacious kingsize, as well as a double and a three-quarter-sized double. Each room is beautifully presented, and the house is complete with a family bathroom with a shower as well as a bath. This is a great choice for families as well as groups of friends, with a great selection of interesting sites to visit nearby.
For those who love the coast, there are some wonderful beaches nearby to discover. Saltburn is a surfers’ paradise and has an iconic pier as well as some trendy bars and restaurants. Staithes has undeniable charm; this village huddles around the shoreline, with little fishing boats sailing out from the harbour. Runswick Bay is gorgeous, with sweeping golden sand, perfect for a scenic stroll while taking in the fresh sea breeze. Whitby is just a 30-minute drive away, a seafaring town with a fascinating history and an abbey overlooking the cobbled streets lined with independent shops and quirky cafés for you to explore, this place really has it all! Beach 3 miles. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Very disappointed with the location of this holiday accommodation. I didn’t realise when I booked it that it was in the middle of a housing estate. I prefer more remote places with plenty of scenery to look out on not somebody else’s back garden!

Brilliant hosts we had a minor issue but it was rectified very promptly. Very professional everything you needed. Beds were very comfortable lovely white bed linen. Would highly recommend Thankyou.

The house is in a good location for beaches Scarborough, the surrounding area and the pub. A 10-minute walkway was lovely and dog friendly.A bit disappointed that while being advertised as dog friendly there was a no dogs allowed sign from the stairs upwards - this is not a sign of a dog friendly place and should have been clearly stated in the description of the house as we would not have booked this if we had known.Grass was also uncut making it difficult to enjoy the garden both for us and our dog.The kitchen was lovely and the lounge comfortable; owners were also prompt when sorting out a hot water issue.
