Set in Handbridge, This charming mid-terrace cottage is within easy walking distance of Chester city centre. 3 Eaton Mews. Inside, the property has undergone considerable renovation to provide an extremely welcoming accommodation your family will be delighted with. After an adventure-filled day, be welcomed into the contemporary sitting room where a woodburning stove takes centre stage, tucked away in a small inglenook fireplace. Cosy up with your loved ones on the sofas and tune into the flatscreen TV and its Netflix account to keep up to date with your favourite shows. An open-plan kitchen/diner is wonderfully appointed to the rear of the cottage and holds all the necessary appliances needed for some home-cooking, with a handy dishwasher to help you with the washing up, it;s here where you'll also find the downstairs cloakroom.

..as discussed with the owner .. The aesthetics of the property were good overall and we enjoyed our stay here, parking facility, pretty clean and tidy garden, huge well equipped kitchen diner..and generous sized bedrooms... There are some cleaning issues eg cobwebs in corners of some rooms and on light fittings .. the bed in the main bedroom whilst comfortable is huge and itâs tricky negotiating around the bed itself could also do with a hoover on head and base board as the quilted fabric does hold dust. Sliding wardrobe doors need a little bit of man handling to slide open , and you share wardrobe space with spare bedding (a pet hate of mine). Maybe an idea to put bedding in bottom drawers in chest of drawers in 2nd bedroom.? There are a couple of issues in the bathroom one ...lock on bathroom window comes out when you open the window.,, and secondly the shower door leeks either side it was worse when hubby showered for what reason we couldnât fathom Iâm sure the owner is aware of these problem but probably hadnât had chance to get them fixed. These things wouldnât stop me from rebooking the property if that was a possibility as Iâm sure they would be sorted in the future, the location of 3 Eaton Mews is excellent!

It's all in the small details. The look to the garden from the kitchen is fantastic. We should have spend more time in the flowering space but the weather was perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Chester is in walking distance and the parking space is very convenient. We had a wonderful time there. Thank you very much!

My first visit to Chester. The property was in a perfect position, only a short 15 minute stroll into the town across the river. Accommodation was of high quality and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Having a parking space was a bonus too. So much to see and do in Chester. I would recommend the Et Alia Italian restaurant located on the river, wonderful food. Also the Cheshire Cat for Sunday lunch and a walk along the canal afterwards. Would also highly recommend a visit to the Llangollen Canal Walk in Wales, only a 30 minute drive away and also a day trip to Liverpool on the train, 40 minutes from Chester. Canât wait to visit again and stay at this lovely property.
