The North Cheshire Way is a 70-mile trail that runs from the Wirral to the Peak District and is ideal for serious hikers. The historic city of Chester, known as "the jewel of the North West of England," is easily accessible by car and features Roman walls, Chester Cathedral, mediaeval churches, and the charming shopping and tea rooms of the Rows.
