The lodge is in an idyllic setting within the grounds of a farm. Bella, the collie, Genevieve and Fleur, the pet sheep and Nic, our host, gave us a very warm welcome. The lodge is extremely comfortable with far reaching views over the countryside. We used the week to take our grandson to his work experience which allowed us to explore Cheshire and Staffordshire, enjoying both town and country. Excellent range of restaurants, pubs and places of interest. Would highly recommend.

i would totally recommend this lodge. if you love to be tucked away from the world but also want lots of things of places to see and do a short drive away this is the location for you. The lodge had an amazing log burner that was lit when we arrived and they provided all the logs and kindle. It made it very cosy. The lodge is set out really well and the kitchen was great to cook for the family.they had supplied eggs and oat pancakes which was a lovely touch.we will defiantly return as it could be a great base for more exploring.

If you want to ‘get away from it all’ Drumble Lodge is the ideal place to head for. Nicola, the host, is very helpful and gave me a warm welcome. She provided very detailed information on the interesting places to visit both locally and a bit further. I was particularly delighted to be shown how the wood burner ‘works’, which was one of the many highlights of my stay. One of the others was the great variety of off leash dog walks in the area. My dog had a fabulous time and so did I. It was probably the most relaxed holiday I’ve had in a while. Thank you Nicola, you’ll be seeing Murphy and me again.
