Had such a lovely time staying at the Alpaca lodge. So much fun walking out of the lodge and being greeted by the Alpacas. The area was quiet and peaceful - perfect place to relax and switch off. A lot of walkable routes nearby but we unfortunately didnt have the weather to really take advantage of this. We had a couple of isues when we first arrived and the host was more than happy to come and help us as soon as posible. Would definitely recommend staying here!!

Lovely place to stay! The alpacas were lovely, host was responsive and friendly! Comfy beds and cosy heating! Only downside was that there was no soap, or any basic amenities for cooking which was a shame. In the night, we heard scratching too - potentially the alpacas but also could have been a rodent, which is completely understandable given the location but was still a little spooky!! All in all, a really nice trip - Id definitely recommend and would stay here again!

We had so much fun at alpaca lodge, the location was perfect for our adventures to Chester zoo and Delamere forest. And we could have hung out with the alpacas for hours! It was a comfy base, very rustic but great for our short break. The only downside were the kitchen facilities, no microwave as advertised and fairly basic, but it didn’t really affect us as we were out and about so much. All in all a lovely break away and we would definitely come back.
