Just back from a weekend at Scafell Lodge, could not fault the accommodation at all. Great views, friendly staff, welcome pack of eggs, milk, bread and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Lodge had everything you could need, (towels supplied) hot tub was amazing, spacious lodge, very clean and modern. Would recommend Oilys restaurant next door too. Location was perfect, towns nearby with supermarkets and takeaways..

We stayed here for a week as a base to visiting the Lake District but without being in the very touristy areas and coming from Scotland it was very easy to get to and find with various Supermarkets in nearby Workington.It is a lovely newish little site with very well spaced out lodges each having parking and lovely countryside views. We were met on arrival and shown to our lodge and how to use the hot tub and heating etc and given our much appreciated welcome pack.Our lodge was very nice and modern, well laid out, clean and still in as new condition and was well equipped.I really liked the hot tub, I personally found it more comfortable than some of the bigger deeper tubs you get it in most other places. I would have liked some screening round it but as you are far enough away from other lodges it was fine.
