This cottage is perfect for a family who wish to enjoy the convenience of staying in a town full of character but have the benefit of being able to explore Morecambe Bay and the Southern Lakes. The entrance hall leads to a cosy sitting room, a spacious living area with dining space and a kitchen. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, two double rooms and a single bedroom. There is also a family bathroom. From the kitchen there is an external door leading to an enclosed garden which has a lawn and a patio.
In and around Ulverston there are lots of lovely places to enjoy. The scenery along the coast road towards Aldingham is quite stunning with amazing sunsets and an abundance of wildlife. On a sunny day why not head into the Lake District and visit Lake Windermere? You can catch the Windermere Steamer from Newby Bridge and cruise up the lake. With stops at Bowness-on-Windermere and Ambleside, this is a perfect way to admire this beautiful part of England. The delightful areas around Coniston and Hawkshead are worth exploring both on foot or by cycle. The trails leading through Grizedale Forest on the eastern shore of Coniston Water are vast and peaceful.

Ulverston is a traditional market town built around a cobbled main street. It boasts a fine selection of independent shops, cafés, and pubs. There is an extensive selection of eating places to suit everyone, from fine dining to traditional pub food. Ulverston is also well known as a festival town, with events ranging from flags and walking to art and music festivals throughout the summer months and with the renowned Dickensian Christmas festival in late November.
