Please note: There are 2 steps in the garden.. As you arrive at the Beckside House, there is ample private parking directly outside the property making for a smooth transition of bags in the house. The entrance hall is light and airy and has hanging for coats and a rack for shoes. To the left is a good-sized twin bedroom with plenty of storage. This room includes a television. The two single beds are zip and link so can be configured as a superking if preferred (please specify at the time of booking). Situated next to the second bedroom is the open living space, finished to a good standard with a modern feel.
The living area benefits from a 50” TV and gives views to the enclosed patio and garden area, with French doors so you can open the whole space up on warm summer days. There is a round, glass table for dining and the well-appointed kitchen means the cook can still be part of the conversation as dinner is prepared. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave, air fryer and a dishwasher.
These is also a washing machine for the outdoor enthusiast who may get caught out by the weather. The property houses a large bath to soak away the day’s aches and pains, and a large drench shower. The property is completed by the large master bedroom which has plenty of space, a television and a superking bed to lull you to sleep.
The property is ideally located with the centre of Dalton-in-Furness only a 2-minute walk from the front door. Dalton offers a good range of shops and take-aways, as well as a selection of lovely pubs which offer food as well as a good selection of beers. Within 3 miles are a number of attractions, such as the Furness Abbey Dock Museum, a variety of beaches and a local leisure centre with a great pool for kids.
If you want to travel a bit further afield then within a 20-mile radius there is the World-famous Lake Windermere and Coniston, Manjushri Buddhist Temple, Lakeland Motor Museum, Go-Ape High ropes adventure, Miniature Village, Bigland Hall equestrian (Horse riding) and Lakes Aquarium to name but a few, so there is something for every family member, and of course, you are at the gateway to the whole of the Lake District National Park.

We had a lovely stay , loved the garden at the back of the property especially if you have pets . Great value for money and good off road parking.

A spacious, well equipped home from home with secure garden! We went as a couple with two dogs but it’s plenty big enough for a family of four & there’s extra room for a travel cot in the main bedroom. As mentioned drive entrance is very tight but we managed the left turn easily by going slowly, swinging across the road before turning; the space in front of the property allows for a 3-point turn enabling you to drive out when you leave —- please do not let this put you off as the privacy it affords is 2nd to none! The garden furniture is a little tired & an outside washing line would’ve been useful but inside has absolutely everything you need. It is a very warm property & I normally feel the cold! Two minute walk to the high street which has variety of takeaways, pubs & a well equipped supermarket! Would highly recommend.

Cosy and comfortable home from home. Great garden for the dog, properly secure with good fencing. Dalton is a lovely little town with everything you need. A perfect base for exploring the coast and the South Lakes.
