Here, you’ll find a variety of attractions, including the beautiful Lake Windermere, the largest lake in England, where you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride, visit the World of Beatrix Potter, try a spot of kayaking and paddle boarding, or explore the beautiful Wray Castle. A historic market town with a fine reputation for shopping, Kendal nestles on the banks of the River Kent and is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes.
