Trains run to Carlisle and Leeds from Lazonby Station. Lake Ullswater and pretty Pooley Bridge are a 23 minutes drive. Scenic Lowther Castle, with cafe, gardens and walks is 27 minutes drive.

Original details described the property as having a Smart TV but unfortunately it was a freeview TV. Had we known this we definitely would not have booked this accommodation. Overall the accommodation is OK albeit a bit tired. The garden is secure so perfect for our dog. We struggled to open the front door, it seems there is an issue with the lock. Had an issue with the hot water which was quickly sorted. Great location for exploring the area which we did

Excellent house with all necessary facilities. Good base for various activities. Handy having the Co-op shop nearby.. Only one minus point and not a terribly big one, numbers on cooker switches not legible, but we soon figured it out.Would highly recommend Eden View.
