Those with restricted mobility will find the ground floor en-suite wet room and huge benefit. The properties are set on the owner’s working farm with beef, sheep and arable, with a woodland area and an abundance of wildlife including swans, ducks, geese, woodpeckers, deer and much more. Ideal for guests wanting to really explore the local area and beyond, with plenty of attractions within a close radius. Our Christmas stay at The Wheat Shed was nothing short of amazing. Before arriving we were given clear directions and instructions on key collection. When we arrived, we were stunned how amazing this barn conversion is. The photographs do not do this place justice. We went as 2 families, joined together we are a 7. There is plenty of room for everyone. We stayed over Christmas and even with 3 children's presents, we had plenty of space. The house was decorated for Christmas which was a must for me. Lots of extra Christmas decorations scattered throughout, which made the place feel so festive. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfortable, the bedding feels really fresh and clean (I've been to plenty of places I didn't get that vibe from!). 2 towels per person were provided, including a towel each for the hot tub! The hot tub was a great addition to our stay, adults and children enjoyed a relaxing time with a little splash of fun! Outside, we didn't venture to the play area, however in our enclosed garden., there was a swing and a mini golf course! We were delighted about this! Back inside, the washer and dryer meant we didn't bring piles of washing home which is always good! We can't believe how clean this holiday let was. It was immaculate! Alison popped her head in on the night we arrived and said she would leave us to it, and that she did. Although this house is on a working farm, we had lots of privacy and seeing the odd animal (hundreds of sheep go past the gate, cows and goats out of the window) was a real bonus. Every person were did see on the farm was so friendly and always said hello or waved! This home is so warm and cosy, we couldn't if asked for a better place to stayMy 11 year old says it was absolutely amazing, the perfect set up which created a beautiful atmosphere and she especially loved the outside amenities! Hands down the best Christmas we've had! Thank you so much!

Very nice place to stay. Comfortable and homely feel with peaceful surroundings. Host was great too, very friendly and gives you privacy after check-in. We would definitely stay again!
