The properties are set on the owner’s working farm with beef, sheep and arable, with a woodland area and an abundance of wildlife including swans, ducks, geese, woodpeckers, deer and much more. Ideal for guests wanting to really explore the local area and beyond, with plenty of attractions within a close radius. Such a perfect stay, the home was absolutely lovely! And we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The kids enjoyed seeing all the animals and the crazy golf, would definitely recommend this home to others, and we will return our selves.

We had a lovely time - girls loved the hot tub and the zip wire and swing was an added bonus. Loved seeing the animals too. The cottage was amazing - had everything we needed. It was clean and plenty of room for all. Could not fault our stay - would highly recommend. Thank you Alison and family for a lovely stay ❤️

A beautiful cottage fully equipped for our week long stay. This is remote and local amenities are on average around 8 miles away for supermarkets etc in Carlisle and Penrith hence the score for amenities however this is just a guide for the review as we knew this in advance and took all our provisions. Located on a working farm expect country smells and noises. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub with beautiful views. This is everything we wanted to spend time as a family and explore as and when we wished to do so. Thank you to the owners for another wonderful stay and we look forward to our return next year
