Woodside Barn is highly praised for its cleanliness, peaceful and quiet location, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the comfortable setting and the warm welcome from the owner. The surrounding views and gardens are noted as beautiful, and the property serves as an excellent base for exploring the Lake District. Some minor discomfort with furniture and a remote location are mentioned, but overall experiences are very positive.
Reviewers consistently mention the spotless condition of the cottage, indicating a very high standard of cleanliness. The property is described as immaculate, which reflects excellent housekeeping practices.
The location is appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions, though some guests note the access road and remoteness as minor drawbacks. The scenic surroundings and peaceful environment are well-liked, contributing to a positive assessment of the location.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and cosy, with a welcoming layout. However, there are a few comments about the furniture not being as comfortable as desired, which slightly affects the overall comfort score.
Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and maintained, with special mentions of a welcome pack and additional amenities like board games and DVDs. There is a single mention of a dishwasher being a helpful addition, but overall, the facilities meet guests' needs effectively.
While guests express gratitude for the welcome pack and the provision of games and DVDs, there are not enough specific references to thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed.

A lovely peaceful location for this well equipped cottage. The gardens are maintained exceptionally well with plenty of outdoor seating. A great find as itâs situated within easy reach of the lakes , local attractions and amenities. We had a fabulous week and will definitely be returning. Had a slight hiccup with the smoke alarm but was immediately sorted. You should be proud of your cottages they are a credit to you
