Located on a quiet residential street in the heart of Lytham, Beachcomber Corner is a newly refurbished holiday home providing spacious and comfortable accommodation on the popular Fylde coast. The property has an enclosed, terrace garden to the front of the property with a sitting-out area perfect to relax in after a busy day exploring. A wonderful coastal town, Lytham boasts a variety of bars, cafés, boutique shops and restaurants making it an ideal base for families and couples alike. The area offers a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities including boating, walking, cycling and bowling. For those who love golf, Lytham St Annes is internationally famous for its four championship golf courses. The town also hosts various events throughout the year including the Lytham Proms which takes place every August, whilst the popular kite festival is held on the beach at St Annes. The promenade stretches from Lytham through St Annes and on to Blackpool offering a beautiful seaside stroll for those who enjoy walking.
For birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, the Ribble Estuary is home to a diverse range of rare birds, plants, insects and animals. Families will enjoy Blackpool, 7 miles, whose many attractions include the famous Tower, Madame Tussauds Waxworks, Sealife Centre, Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Zoo. Other coastal towns worth a visit are Thornton Cleveleys and Fleetwood, whose designer shopping outlet village is very popular. Should you fancy a change from the coastal landscapes, Lancashire’s beautiful Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland aonb, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District can all be reached in just under an hour.

Retired couple with dog. Our second visit mainly due to spacious property, comfy beds, smart tv with Netflix included and good value for money. Very near to promenade and grassed expense ideal for dog walking and you can walk for miles if required.About 12 mins walk into Lyrham town centre with large number shops, restaurants and pubs. (not everyone dog friendly)Negative comments;As mentioned by previous guests, the property lacks some basic kitchenequipment necessary for self catering use.Only one recognised wine glass available (if you like prosecco there's ample flute glasses)No oven trays. We had to buy a spatchular for cooking breakfast. No salt available.Whilst these might seem minor moans most properties we stay in have all the kitchen basics to hand. We shouldn't have to buy these basic equipment essentials. ( I note other guests also mentioning having to buy glasses and kitchen utensils)We would return and hopefully any shortfalls are addressed

Great place to stay with everything in walking distance. We felt right at home and had everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and all the rooms especially the beds were of high quality. The only downside for us was not being able to allow our dog on any of the furniture or letting them in the bedrooms.We didn’t realise this when we booked as that information wasn’t on the description. It wasn’t until we arrived and read the introduction book and there is a sign telling you also. This would be the only reason we wouldn’t rebook to stay again as we believe it’s also our dogs holiday as well as ours. Other than that it’s a great place with lots to do. Amazing food, lovely cafes and pubs it’s all there for everyone to enjoy.

We had a lovely long weekend at the Beachcomber cottage. Our initial problems with the WiFi were quickly sorted out. The cottage is well placed for the lovely town of Lytham and for the sea front. Beds were very comfy. A mirror in the third bedroom would be useful otherwise no complaints! We would be happy to return.
