Located on a quiet residential street in the heart of Lytham, Beachcomber Corner is a newly refurbished holiday home providing spacious and comfortable accommodation on the popular Fylde coast. The property has an enclosed, terrace garden to the front of the property with a sitting-out area perfect to relax in after a busy day exploring. A wonderful coastal town, Lytham boasts a variety of bars, cafés, boutique shops and restaurants making it an ideal base for families and couples alike. The area offers a wide choice of entertainment and leisure facilities including boating, walking, cycling and bowling. For those who love golf, Lytham St Annes is internationally famous for its four championship golf courses. The town also hosts various events throughout the year including the Lytham Proms which takes place every August, whilst the popular kite festival is held on the beach at St Annes. The promenade stretches from Lytham through St Annes and on to Blackpool offering a beautiful seaside stroll for those who enjoy walking.
For birdwatchers and wildlife lovers, the Ribble Estuary is home to a diverse range of rare birds, plants, insects and animals. Families will enjoy Blackpool, 7 miles, whose many attractions include the famous Tower, Madame Tussauds Waxworks, Sealife Centre, Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Zoo. Other coastal towns worth a visit are Thornton Cleveleys and Fleetwood, whose designer shopping outlet village is very popular. Should you fancy a change from the coastal landscapes, Lancashire’s beautiful Ribble Valley, Forest of Bowland aonb, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District can all be reached in just under an hour.

We are retired couple with cocker spaniel.First time at Beachcomber but won't be the last. Abit unusual because living space and 2 bedrooms on first floor. Ground floor has large bedroom and walk-in shower. It appears the building was once shared with a Vets surgery, the surgery being on ground floor but now closed.Kitchen was recently refurbed and more than adequate. lounge was a large space. Sofas abit dated but comfy. Large screen smart TV with many channels including ITVX and Amazon prime.We used the two first floor bedrooms. Both had very comfy beds.Location; About 5 mins walk to promenade with large grassed areas perfect for dog walking . No beaches in Lytham so need to travel into St Annes (about 2 miles)Property is about 10 mins walk to Queens hotel (dog friendly) and 15 mins into Lytham centre where there are many restaurants and pubs (sadly not very dog friendly except for couple pubs).Contact with the owners is easy and they responded quickly to a couple of minor issues we had.Overall we were very satisfied with the property and would not hesitate to return.

Had a fabulous week at this cottage, very accommodating, owner had good pre-comms , very clean, parking outside but very busy with other parked cars so had to park a little way down the road at times, no big deal though,
