Fairhaven lake is a short walk, offering tennis, boat hire and bowling amongst its attractions. There is also a cafe and rspb discovery centre. Nearby is a cinema, indoor swimming pool, a beach and a variety of coastal walks. Within a short drive, there are four 18-hole golf courses. The attractive towns of Lytham and St Anne’s offering bars, restaurants and cafes, are within 2 miles. Blackpool is approximately 8 miles. The Lake District is approximately 1-hour. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

This was our 4th Holiday at Ivy House, which speaks for itself.A lovely house with everything you need, including dog bowls etc.Lovely, comfortable beds, plenty of space, easy parking either in the drive or on the road. Very quite area, but only a short walk from the sand dunes and Fairhaven Lake, perfect for walking the dog.Blackpool, St Annes and Lytham are a a short drive away as well as other areas of interest.Andrew was very helpful and is always responsive.We will certainly be booking again as it feels like a home from home.Highly recommended

Definatley comfortable.idealy situated. Close to the front st Annes and Lytham.The drive is easy if you take your time we have a Q3 and its a mid sized suv...it was fine.....cant speak for larger suvs??? But there is road side parking??? I was ok with ours. I reversed in ltting the wife out at the drive enterance...reversed then unloaded the car from the drivers side and the boot....That worked fine. We want to stay again ...soon...Booking agent wasnt much help...but the owner was very helpful..PERFECT RELAXING QUIET......HOLIDAY.
