Having stayed last year we decided to return. Although first impression was that it was clean, there was a lot of dusty areas that had not been cleaned. The furniture is quite old, one of the dining chairs collapsed. It was hot while we were there but there were several windows which did not open. The kitchen is well equipped with mostly everything we needed. Lots of stairs for those sleeping on the upper floor. Location is fabulous, right in the centre of Kirkby Lonsdale and a perfect base for exploring the area.

Great house in a great location. The interiors are retro and all the beds are comfortable. The host was very nice.

I dont normally leave reviews but in this case we were so impresed with the house, we wanted to acknowledge how delighted we were with it, and would not hesitate to recommend it
