Excellent spot for our requirements, nice area, convenient for Carnforth and local shops very well equipped. Peaceful, bird life if you feed them can’t fault it.

Gowan View is a lovly cottage, however it could do with some TLC. The en suite for the bedroom to the right of the front door has a dreadful ‘drain’ smell, which was there last year too. We really struggled to use the hob and could find no instructions for it. The dining table has only 5 chairs so we ended up using one of the breakfast bar at its lowest setting but this was still too high.Some of the mattresses could do with replacing as a little saggy in the middle.
