Bank Lane House can be found on Lytham Edge Lodge Park amidst picturesque countryside in the village of Warton, just 3 miles from the coastal town of Lytham St Annes. Wonderfully spacious and set in its own grounds it makes the most wonderful base for large families and small groups wanting a get together on this beautiful part of the Fylde coast.
Warton is a tranquil village with the centre around a 15-minute walk, and where you’ll find local facilities. Alternatively, a 10-minute drive will take you to the golden sands of Lytham St Anne’s, where you’ll find a huge choice of trendy cocktail bars, restaurants and boutiques. Lytham Green stretches the length of the promenade with views across the estuary towards Southport. It’s also the setting for open air concerts and exhibitions including exciting events such as the Lytham Proms Music Festival.
Neighbouring St Annes is a traditional Victorian seaside town with a pier, glorious sandy beach, and lively shopping centre. Following the coast round, Blackpool offers bright lights, razzamatazz, glitz and glamour, not to mention the famous tower and Pleasure Beach. Cleveleys has a busy town centre and beautiful seafront, and Fleetwood an outlet shopping centre experience. Inland you’ll find the quaint market towns of Garstang and Poulton-Le-Fylde, and then further afield the historic city of Lancaster and even Lake District National Park. With such a diverse offering of things to do, you really will be spoilt for choice.

Bank house is right next to a large mobile home/holiday park. The view at the back is caravans and at the front, a fenced off piece of shrub land. Down a poorly kept quite narrow road in places. It was ok as it was quiet being november but I would imagine quite hectic and frustrating in summer. The location is 30 minutes from Blackpool. The house whilst mostly immaculate was let down by a dirty fridge with the remnant of food from previous occupant. A squashed sausage at the back of the microwave and on emptying the bin it was dirty at the bottom. Skirting board coming away from walls and extremely poor quality bedding with one duvet cover so thin it was ripped along the seam, bedding was highly creased/not ironed, so don't expect nice crisp linen. There is one ensuite and the rest of the occupants, up to 8 will have to share one main bathroom upstairs. There is a downstairs bedroom but no downstairs toilet/bathroom so unsuitable for those with mobilty problems. No welcome pack

Bank Lane House was ideal for our early family Christmas get together.The large conservatory containing the multi use pool table/ air hockey/ table tennis was great and kept the kids entertained whilst the weather was bad!And the cottage had been decorated for Christmas prior to our arrival.Staff were very helpful. Only minor point was no toilet downstairs, otherwise a great stay!

Had a great weekend here with extended family. House was big enough for all of us without being on top of each other. Kids loved the games room and I loved cooking breakfast for everyone in the huge kitchen. Thank you for having us. Will definitely be back!
