Bank Lane House can be found on Lytham Edge Lodge Park amidst picturesque countryside in the village of Warton, just 3 miles from the coastal town of Lytham St Annes. Wonderfully spacious and set in its own grounds it makes the most wonderful base for large families and small groups wanting a get together on this beautiful part of the Fylde coast.
Warton is a tranquil village with the centre around a 15-minute walk, and where you’ll find local facilities. Alternatively, a 10-minute drive will take you to the golden sands of Lytham St Anne’s, where you’ll find a huge choice of trendy cocktail bars, restaurants and boutiques. Lytham Green stretches the length of the promenade with views across the estuary towards Southport. It’s also the setting for open air concerts and exhibitions including exciting events such as the Lytham Proms Music Festival.
Neighbouring St Annes is a traditional Victorian seaside town with a pier, glorious sandy beach, and lively shopping centre. Following the coast round, Blackpool offers bright lights, razzamatazz, glitz and glamour, not to mention the famous tower and Pleasure Beach. Cleveleys has a busy town centre and beautiful seafront, and Fleetwood an outlet shopping centre experience. Inland you’ll find the quaint market towns of Garstang and Poulton-Le-Fylde, and then further afield the historic city of Lancaster and even Lake District National Park. With such a diverse offering of things to do, you really will be spoilt for choice.

We stayed at the cottage for one week, from the 14th to the 21st of September. Overall, the property is very well-sized, with a spacious driveway that easily accommodates 3 to 4 cars. The location is peaceful and pleasant, and we really enjoyed the small pond with ducks in the back garden.The kitchen was large and spacious, and the hob, oven, and appliances all worked perfectly. However, there was a shortage of cookware and kitchenware, especially pots and pans. We also encountered a plumbing issue where the drain in the yard overflowed twice during our stay; fortunately, the maintenance team was very responsive and resolved it quickly.The barbecue was great and we used it frequently, but the garden lacks proper outdoor lighting for the evening, and there is no canopy or shelter over the barbecue area, making it difficult to use when it rains.On the positive side, the conservatory is huge and can comfortably host 10 to 12 people. The bedrooms are ideally sized and the beds were comfortable, though having more wardrobes or storage space would have been very helpful for our belongings.It's an excellent choice for parties and groups of over eight people, offering good value for the money

Heating didnt work and would been better if had downstairs wc as we has disabled person kitchen door needs looking at as would not close better if had downstairs wc has had disabled person other wise very nice

For a large family with children it is ideal. Its spacious and comfortable, with excellent laundry facilities. The games room was a big hit. Easy access to Lytham and Blackpool. Not much within walking distance.
