Had everything we needed and more. The views are wonderful and the property was very clean. The welcome pack was a lovely touch with wine, milk, tea, coffee, jam, biscuits and croissants. There are so many walks around here, one we loved was Whitewell Stepping Stones. We also had a day out to the Lake District and enjoyed Coniston Waters. Just be aware the main bedroom is right on the main road through the village, so you can be woken early by traffic if a light sleeper. But other than that we had a wonderful time!

Will book again but for longer next time. Walkers heaven and great eating places with quaint little villages. Loved the paintings and photos around the house, everything was top quality. Felt special. Highly recommend, everything so local. Owners, just keep doing what you're doing, spot on.

Cottage has been furnished and equipped to the highest standard, making our stay most enjoyable. So much so that we were sad to leave. If we are ever in this area again we would definitely stay at Clough Cottage.
