Redstone Cottage is a wonderful single-storey detached lodge that can be found on Redstones Farm, on the beautiful Wirral Peninsula. Boasting three good-sized bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and underfloor heating throughout, it offers beautifully presented, warm, and comfortable accommodation for couples, friends, and family alike.
Situated mid-way between the vibrant villages of Greasby and Irby there’s convenient access to a whole host of pubs and eateries, and the surrounding area is home to some glorious countryside that’s just waiting to be explored. Many circular routes quite conveniently radiate from a popular food-serving country pub which is just a 3-minute walk from Redstone Cottage. Bordering Greasby are Saughall Massie and rural Frankby which are both fantastic areas for walkers to discover. In Frankby you’ll find Royden Park which offers a wide range of activities and facilities, including a majestic hillside walk with unrivalled views of the Wirral from its peak. Arrowe Country Park is also nearby and perfect for a relaxing walk as well as having an excellent neighbouring 18-hole golf course. The Wirral, in fact, is an ideal place for a golfing break with 14 courses to choose from nearby, including the prestigious Prenton Golf Club and Royal Liverpool Golf Club, which has been host of the Open Championship on several occasions.
Swapping the countryside for coast within 10–15 minutes there’s the beaches of Thurstaston, Wallasey, West Kirby and New Brighton where you can also stroll along the promenade. The Hilbre Islands are also around 15 minutes away and a must-see wildlife haven, where you walk along the seabed at low tide and if lucky spot grey seals. Other local attractions within 15 minutes include the historic Leasowe Lighthouse and Birkenhead Park which is said to be the inspiration for Central Park in New York. Finally, you can step aboard the world-famous Mersey Ferries from Seacombe to Liverpool, to explore The Beatles history, Tate Gallery, and Royal Albert Docks. On arrival at Redstones Cottage, we were greeted by Neil. He explained everything about the cottage, and said if we needed anything, we should call him.The cottage was beautiful, lovely open living, with everything you would need. Very comfy beds, and bathrooms were immaculate, as was the rest of the cottage. Would definetely book again.

Great cottage with lots of room for just the 2 of us. Nice and warm. Would benefit from having an empty cupboard to put our food stuff in and a better and larger coffee maker. Apart from that, good place to stay and easy to get around Wirral and into Liverpool.

This accommodation is lovely - well equipped, spacious and warm. As a mixed family group visiting for a local celebration, the en suite bedrooms and nice large social / dining area made it perfect for us. Very nice hosts, thank you to Mark & his father for being so welcoming & helpful.
