The cottage is spotless, has ample space for larger groups, and has a fabulously well equipped kitchen. Communication with Barbara was excellent and timely, and we really appreciated the lovely welcome pack of biscuits, milk and eggs. We will recommend Paddock House to all our friends:-)

We did have a problem with the road leading to the cottage as there is building work going on in a property very close to the cottage. This caused us quite a degree of anxiety as negotiating the road was hard enough but with all the building wagons and lorries it was near impossible at times. We did scrape the underside of our car on a raised centre section of the road. There was also a lorry that got stuck in the mud which took a while to clear and no lights at night to make it easier.

The house is in beautiful countryside with walks easily made to all the local attractions. We didnât need to use the car. The house was lovely to come back to as was very cosy and comfortable with plenty of room for 7 of us including our two dogs. The kitchen was very well equipped. Nearest shop is Ashbourne so best to organise shopping before you arrive and we had a supermarket delivery which was perfect. Eggs from farm and milk were left by the owners which was a nice touch. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would very much recommend.
