Guests consistently mention the cottage's immaculate condition, highlighting its cleanliness as a standout feature. The property is well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its tranquility and proximity to the Peak District, local pubs, and Ashbourne. Its scenic views and quiet surroundings contribute to a peaceful retreat, though accessibility requires a car.

The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with a particularly comfy bed and a big bath for relaxation. Some guests find the space small when fully occupied, but overall, the comfort level is high.

Fantastic views of the countryside from all angles. Well located for the Dales and historic houses. Cottage was immaculately clean. Kitchen sink area is very confined but we managed. Could do with a few more kitchen items eg cooking oil, salt for those who prefer to cook their own meals rather than eating out extortionately badly cooked food.

Had an amazing few days in this cottage. Everything you could need and want was there. The area was amazing. So quiet. We had a dog with us and had no issues at all. There was garden and it was enclosed.
