Everton Cottage in Bakewell is highly praised for its ideal location, spaciousness, and cleanliness. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions, ample parking, and the well-equipped kitchen. The festive decorations during Christmas and the responsiveness of the hosts, Leanne & Karl, add to the positive experience. Some minor issues with water pressure and traffic noise are noted.
Reviews consistently mention the property being clean and well-maintained, with only one mention of cupboards needing a clean out. The overall impression is of a high standard of cleanliness.
The location is frequently highlighted as perfect, with its proximity to the town centre, park, river, and local attractions. It is considered ideal for walking and exploring Bakewell.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with comfy beds and a spacious environment suitable for groups. However, some guests mention issues with water pressure affecting shower comfort.
The property is well-equipped with a Rangemaster cooker, washer dryer, and ample bathrooms. However, points are deducted for the mentioned issues with shower water pressure and blunt kitchen knives.
While guests appreciate the Christmas decorations, there is no consistent mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches across the reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

We stayed at Everton for 4 nights over Christmas. Nicely decorated with Christmas tree and other decorations to keep us feeling festive. Perfect location for walking into town, took about 5 minutes and directly opposite the park for walking the dog and trying out our new scooters. Lots of places to eat, have a drink and the fish and chips at catch 32 were delicious. Lots of space in the house for us, 4 adults, 3 children and a dog, only downside was the upstairs showers weren't amazing, water kept running to a trickle, but the downstairs shower was perfect. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be back again.

This was our 3rd visit to Everton & it was a lovely a ever. The location is perfect for walking into Bakewell for shopping and an evening meal. The house was immaculately clean, well equipped and comfortable. We were a group of 5 on a family girls weekend, having the use of 4 bathrooms with showers is a great plus 😊
