Pippinwell is a well-regarded cottage in the Peak District, appreciated for its beautiful location near Bakewell and its clean, comfy accommodations. Guests enjoy the added fun of a swimming pool and games room. While some minor issues were noted, the overall experience is positive, with the property being well-maintained and hosts being helpful.
The property is consistently described as clean, with one review specifically mentioning clean and comfortable bedding and towels. No negative comments about cleanliness were made.
The location is praised for its beauty and proximity to Bakewell. However, some guests experienced difficulty finding the property due to Sat Nav issues, slightly affecting the score.
Guests found the beds comfy and the house clean. One review mentioned a bedroom without a window and oversized chairs in a small kitchen, which suggests some comfort issues for larger groups.
Facilities like the swimming pool and games room are highlights. However, there were complaints about a lack of TV updates, heating issues, and insufficient kitchen equipment, which indicates room for improvement in maintenance.
While guests appreciated the facilities and the host's helpfulness, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be evaluated under this category.

The interior design of the individual bedrooms was selective to individual taste but clean and fresh. The maintenance manager âMarkâ was extremely helpful and very approachable to assist us during our stay, thank you. My only recommendation would be to better signpost the cottages on the busy main road A5055 for those arriving at night, as Sat Nav guides you elsewhere. A thoroughly pleasant stay.

If I could offer anything it would be that a large towel and small hand towel per person would be nice. Us ladies like to use one on our hair too. Small one pint of milk just so when we land from the south coast it would have been nice to have a cuppa before going out to find the shops
