Beautiful 5/6 bedroomed cottage with plenty of space for everyone to relax and have fun. The cottage overlooks the Derwent Valley and river Derwent which runs through the village. The cottage comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests in five upstairs bedrooms and one downstairs snug off the living area with double full-sized double sofa-bed. There are gardens to the front and rear with BBQ and outside garden furniture and garden games including swingball and garden jenga. Matlock Bath is known as the seaside town without the sea and you'll soon see why! There are shops, pubs, restaurants and amusements all along the main promenades plus loads of things to do right here in the village including boat trips, cable car rides, a children's theme park, a nine hole indoor crazy golf, an aquarium and even a Victorian lido crammed with giant Koi Carp. The cottage is nestled on the hillside of Matlock bath looking down over the village in a quiet location just five minutes walk from all the hustle and bustle with superb views and walks right from the door. Further afield the Peak District National Park is just a short car ride away with it's stunning scenery and fabulous stately homes including Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. Alton Towers is about 30 minutes away by car. Crow Pie Cottage is available for short weekend breaks (Friday to Sunday), long weekends (Friday to Monday), midweek and week-long breaks all year round - please contact us with your requirements and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Being on the edge of the Peak District National Park means visitors have easy access to the beautiful landscape, excellent footpaths and exciting mountain bike trails. Places to visit during your stay include Bakewell, which is especially good fun on Mondays when the market is on, Matlock, Buxton and Ashbourne.
In the Autumn there is the Matlock Bath Illuminations and Venetian Nights when illuminated and decorated boats along the River Derwent (wekeends). The 2024 season will run every Saturday and Sunday night from the beginning of September to the end of October, with fireworks finales every October Saturday evening. Crow Pie Cottage is the perfect spot to watch the fireworks and wander down to the village to enjoy the amusements and boats.

Crow Pie Cottage is of a generous size, combining lots of space with original features to create a relaxing atmosphere where guests immediately feel welcome and at ease. Accommodation is over two floors.

Outside: Crow Pie Cottage has mature gardens to the front and rear, with several seating areas so that guests can relax and enjoy the views over the Derwent Valley towards Riber Castle. There is also two private acres of woodland at the back of the cottage for guests to explore including parking for 3-4 cars next to the house with more free parking a short walk away.
Additional information: Utilities, WiFi and a basket of fuel for the log burner are provided. Smoking and pets are not permitted. Short breaks (Mon-Fri or Fri-Mon) are possible all year round.
