There is loads of space with ten bedrooms that can sleep up to 28 people, three separate living rooms and a central dining area with a vaulted ceiling that is ideal for entertaining. The village of Flash (highest village in England) is within walking distance, with Buxton, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Alton Towers also within easy reach. The Peak District is beautiful in every season and there are lots of walks and mountain bike trails close by to help guests to explore.

Quarnford Lodge is ideal for gathering family and friends together and celebrating life's special moments, large and small. The house is in a fantastic location with spectacular views and two pubs, The Knight's Table and New Inn, a leisurely walk of less than a mile. The ten stylish and comfortable en-suite bedrooms sleep up to 28 people. Adults and kids alike will love the secure garden where you can design your very own mini golf course or play a game of table tennis. If you need a large self-catering property in the Peak District National Park then Quarnford Lodge could be what you want.

Exploring the Dane Valley and the Peak District is a pleasure in any season. There are wonderful walks straight from the house, including a circular three-mile route which takes in the Three Shires Head on Axe Moor, where Derbyshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire meet, as well as waterfalls and a pretty Grade II listed stone bridge. Further afield, there are lovely walks through Corbar Cross and Corbar Woods, to Solomon's Temple, and around Buxton Country Park. Mountain bike trails are plentiful and there is a route to suit every ability, with bike hire available locally.

Buxton is a beautiful spa town with a long history of welcoming guests. Well-heeled Georgians and Victorians flocked there to "take the water" and enjoy the social life, with their legacy remaining in the form of elegant buildings and excellent amenities. The town is a fabulous choice for a fun day of shopping, eating and sightseeing. Other nearby attractions include Tittesworth Reservoir, Blaze Farm, Bakewell, Chatsworth House, and Alton Towers.

The owners of Quarnford Lodge are happy to put you in contact with local businesses who can arrange activities either on-site or in the area. These include spa days and cooking lessons, quad biking, archery and so much more. The location and layout of Quarnford Lodge also make it ideal for team building, corporate meetings and strategy sessions.

Accommodation Comprises:

Quarnford Lodge is a lovely property with plenty of space inside and outdoors and no immediate neighbours. Accommodation is over two levels.

Downstairs:

Vaulted ceiling and minstrels' gallery make the main living area a showstopper. A U-shaped dining table seats up to 28 guests, with the size of the table and number of chairs adjustable for smaller groups. There is a two-sided fireplace with a log burning stove sharing its heat into the dining room and adjacent living area.

Well fitted kitchen that is close to the dining area and full of useful implements and utensils. The kitchen is equipped with catering standard appliances, and it is possible to arrange for external caterers to come in daily or for a one-off special meal. Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Tesco and Asda all deliver to the house so you can order your groceries online for delivery after your arrival.

Two further living areas each with comfortable leather sofas and a big flatscreen TV. There is also a games room with a pool table.

Twin/double bedroom with two single beds that can be joined to create a large double. This room has a wheelchair accessible wet room en-suite.

Upstairs:

As with the bedrooms downstairs, all of the rooms upstairs have ensuites either with a shower or a bath. The beds are made with quality linen and hypoallergenic bedding, and there is proper storage.

Outside: The house has a secure garden area which can either be used as an open space or guests can design and set up their own mini-golf course (all necessary equipment is provided). There is also an outdoor table tennis table and a stainless steel charcoal barbecue. Parking for 15 cars.

Additional Information: Short breaks are available all year round. All utilities, WiFi, bed linen and towels are provided. Up to three well-behaved dogs are welcome with prior agreement (a charge of £30 per dog for the duration of your stay applies). Smoking and vaping are not permitted.
