The Dell is a highly praised cottage in the Peak District, celebrated for its cleanliness, prime location, and comfort. Guests consistently commend the well-equipped facilities and the thoughtful touches like homemade cakes and fresh flowers, contributing to a welcoming and enjoyable stay. The property's seclusion offers privacy, yet it remains conveniently close to local attractions and walking routes.
Reviewers unanimously mention the spotless condition of the cottage, highlighting its exceptional cleanliness which contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The location is frequently praised for its peacefulness and proximity to local pubs and walking paths, though one comment about limited dining options slightly impacts the score.
Comfort is highly rated with mentions of a cosy atmosphere and comfortable furnishings. A single mention of a low sofa suggests a minor issue for some guests, but overall satisfaction remains high.
Facilities are well-regarded, with guests appreciating the well-equipped kitchen and maintenance of the property. A few comments on specific items like the shower and heating controls suggest room for improvement.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the numerous mentions of welcome packs and gifts. While these are greatly appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches, though common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The Dell is immaculately clean, very well equipped, cosy & comfortable. The welcome basket of goodies is a lovely touch. We stayed in December & the Christmas decorations in the cottage added to the festive feel. Just a short stroll to The Miners Standard pub which is very friendly & a great place to enjoy a drink & relax. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
