Ty Gambo is a charming house in the quaint village of Oker, Derbyshire. This delightful retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a peaceful countryside escape. Inside, you'll find a spacious kitchen/diner, fully equipped so that the chef of the group is able to cook up a feast for all to enjoy! The sitting room, complete with a Smart TV and a warm woodburning stove, provides the perfect space for unwinding after exploring the local area. The property boasts five beautifully-presented bedrooms, a super-king-size bedroom with an elegant en-suite, two king-size bedrooms and a twin. The ground floor hosts another twin bedroom, providing flexibility for all party configurations. For a hot soak or steamy rinse, you'll find the family bathroom is well-equipped to provide you with both, complete with a bath and walk-in shower. Outside, the property benefits from a front garden with a lawn, patio and furniture, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or dining alfresco. The property is south-facing, catching the sun all day. The enclosed side patio features a hot tub, offering a touch of indulgence and a wonderful spot to relax. If you can tear yourself away from your new abode, you'll find three public footpaths just on your doorstep into the stunning Peak District National Park. The popular Peak District town of Matlock, together with its neighbour, Matlock Bath, has been attracting visitors to the area since the spa was developed in the late 17th century. Set in the beautiful wooded gorge of the River Derwent, the Matlocks offer a range of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a host of attractions including Gulliver’s Kingdom and the Peak District Mining Museum. Magnificent views down the gorge can be enjoyed from the cable car which takes visitors up to the Heights of Abraham – a great place for all the family with its showcaves, nature trail, water gardens and Owl Maze. South of the town is the start of the High Peak Cycle Trail, whilst a short drive away is the National Tramway Museum at Crich. To the north are the market town of Bakewell and Chatsworth House and Park - not to be missed!
