Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed. We were very lucky with the weather so the patio furniture was very welcome.

We have used Kingfisher cottage many times and never fails to please.

A lovely cottage, comfortable and well-equipped, in a perfect quiet location for many walks from the door. The countryside is varied, scenic, and full of wildlife, and you can also walk to Haddon Hall, which is a gem, or drive the short distance to Chatsworth. Also convenient for shops and pubs in the village, which has a surprising number of such facilities, whilst retaining its historic character. If you're into open-air swimming, there is a bathing area in the river, 1 minute's walk from the door.
