If you need some peace and quiet, you’ll find a cosy resting spot with views across the gardens, watching the youngsters play board games on the ample lawn space. There is a patio with BBQ for al fresco dining, or why not enjoy a picnic on warm evenings. At bedtime, there are three bedrooms to choose from, all served by the elegant family bathroom.

A top destination for cyclists, your accommodation is close to the renowned Tissington Trail and the High Peak Trail. You can also soak up the scenery of the White Peak and South West Peak whilst gliding along traffic-free routes. Slightly further afield, Hartington (4 miles) is a traditional limestone village with a picturesque duck pond and several inviting shops selling delicious local produce. Chatsworth House can also be reached within 12 miles, offering a chance to step back in time as you explore the gardens and grounds.
