These superb, stone-built barn conversions can be found nestled in the charming village of Litton, on a traditional working farm within the picturesque Peak District National Park. Newly converted in 2023, each have been thoughtfully and beautifully designed to cater fully to the needs of both you and your furry friends. Both are full of character with individual impressive features such beamed, vaulted ceilings and exposed stone. There’s the luxury addition of underfloor heating to the ground floor and externally there’s an enclosed space, allowing any small children and four-legged companions to frolic freely and safely. A private parking space with EV chargers is available for each property, for cycling enthusiasts there’s bike storage and there’s even facilities to wash dogs, bikes and muddy boots meaning your companions and equipment can return from outdoor adventures clean and refreshed. This property is on a working farm, towards the end of March and ongoing for approximately 4 weeks guests may be lucky enough to witness lambing seasons with newborn lambs being born and the opportunity to feed them.

This cottage was excellent. It had everything you needed and more. Plenty of parking nice size garden for the dogs. It’s like a tardis. Alot bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. My only two criticisms, they could easily fit a king size bed in the master bedroom. (My personal preference) and the en-suite shower cubicle could do with having a door. Water splashed out onto bathroom floor otherwise. Apart from that it’s perfect and already looking at coming back in the spring/summer for a longer stay.

The accommodation exceeded expectation and was a perfect place to visit the Peak District. The cottage was very peaceful with secure parking and a shared electric charging point. Litton is a small village with a very good pub and a small convenience store with easy access to larger towns 10-15 miles away.

Second visit here and just as good as the first. The owners go above and beyond in making you feel welcome and help you in any way that they can to make things easier for you. The welcome basket is a real selection of goodies. The cottage is warm, spacious and very comfortable. The WiFi is very good (Tracey - hope you managed to get BT to listen!). How could this cottage be improved, well it can’t. It’s perfect as well as the owners are - thank you to you both
