Surrounded by countryside, this semi-detached Tideswell cottage has ceiling beams and a traditional quarry tiled floor in the living area, whilst the first floor has wooden floors, giving a real feeling of charm throughout. Outside this Derbyshire cottage is a large shared patio as well as a paddock areas. A lovely Tideswell cottage for your Peak District break, all year round. The village of Tideswell is in the Peak District National Park. Mam Tor and Castleton are close by and the Buxton just nine miles away.

It was perfect for us and Charlie the dog. Very homely, well equipped and comfortable. Wendy was friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet her and share the beautiful countryside that is her home. We are definitely going to return.

Only issue was leaking tap which was reported to owner. Two lovely horses on site right opposite cottage. Will seriously think about booking both cottages together for all family.

Parking was no problem. Unfortunately, although there were two toilets, one was in the corridor to be shared by both properties - rather odd! For a later autumnal/winter booking the recreational seating for 5 people would be difficult!. May be a set of 3 easy chairs instead of one of the settees would be a thought? Brilliant for dogs - and the stair gates were a lovely containment idea. Kitchen was well equipped. Wendy was lovely, welcoming, approachable and helpful.
